Ecovadis is the sustainability assessment platform chosen by the members of the Railsponsible sector initiative, of which the CAF Group is a member, focused on the development of sustainable practices throughout the railway industry value chain. The evaluation is based on a questionnaire adapted to the locations, sector and size of the CAF Group, where 21 aspects of sustainability are evaluated in line with the most demanding international norms, regulations and standards, including Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Labour Organization (ILO), UN Global Compact and ISO 26000. The responses are evaluated by specialised analysts who pay special attention to ensuring that the documentary evidence is coherent, recent and shows a dynamic review of the Policies, Actions and Results in the different areas.
