WPM

WHEEL PROFILE MONITORING

The automatic Wheel Profile Monitoring systems (WPM) are capable of accurately measuring the wheel profile data and diameter with a very high success rate without human intervention.

WDD LITE

WHEEL DEFECT DETECTION

Detects localized wheel defects on the wheel tread such as wheel flats, wheel spalling, wheel shelling or wheel polygonization. For each wheel with defects, the system classifies the severity of the problem in 2 levels: warning and alarm.

WDD PRO

WHEEL DEFECT DETECTION

In addition to the results provided by the WDD Lite (detection of localized wheel defects on the wheel tread such as wheel flats, wheel spalling, wheel shelling or wheel polygonization), the WDD Pro can also detect wheels with outof-roundness (ovalization) and measures the wheel load to identify wheelset and bogie imbalances.

BRAKE DISK MONITORING

The automatic Brake Disc Monitoring systems (BDMs) are capable of accurately measuring the brake disc profile data and pad thickness with a very high success rate without human intervention.

BOGIE INSPECTION

The Bogie Inspection system (BI) takes photographs of all the bogies of the vehicle to generate high resolution views of each of them from each side (2 images per bogie).

BAM

BEARING ACOUSTIC MONITORING

Monitors the acoustic signal of each axle bearing passing the system at line speed. The signal processing of that acoustic input can detect problem bearings months in advance of any heat generation due to the defect.

HABD

HOT AXLE BOX DETECTION SYSTEM

The Hot Axle Box Detection system (HABD) allows the inspection of different parts of the vehicle's underframe. Thus, this system enables the user to detect abnormal behaviors of components such as gearboxes, engines, axle boxes, etc.

PM

PANTOGRAPH MONITORING

The Pantograph Monitoring System (PMs) obtains a 3D reconstruction of the carbon strips and allows the calculation of different parameters (such as the thickness of the strips in different points or the uplift of the pantograph), allowing the user to anticipate the replacements needed for these consumables.

CSM

COLLECTOR SHOE MONITORING

The Collector Shoe Monitoring System (CSMs) measures the thickness of the collector shoe in different points, allowing the user to anticipate the replacements needed for these consumables.
