Solaris has unveiled a new production hall in the municipality of Środa Wielkopolska. The investment will increase the company’s manufacturing capacity and represents a key element of its growth strategy, aimed at strengthening its position in the zero-emission public transport segment across Europe.
The newly commissioned hall, with a total area of over 7,000 square metres, is dedicated for final assembly of city buses. The new facility will increase Solaris’ existing production capacity by approximately 500 vehicles per year. The new plant has already created nearly 300 direct jobs, with several hundred additional positions generated indirectly among regional suppliers.
